Shot at the highest point of the city of Pula, in the ex-military zone of Muzil, the film focuses on a place which has been unreachable to most of the population for more than 150 years. Through images and author’s intimate impressions, it deals with the topic of a forbidden place, while through archival audio records, it questions the abuse of the area by the local government.

Vjekoslav Gašparović was born in Pula in 1980. He graduated in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and studied film and TV directing (documentary film) at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He directed documentary shorts Clearance (2011) and With You through Life (2014), as well as the documentary series Just Numbers (2014).
