Jedrarska Street (also known as Drunken Alley) is a small, unattractive, almost invisible alley in the very centre of Rijeka. Lawyers, fishermen, cultural workers, old local Italians, alcoholics, and children alike all gather here. The alley encapsulates the essence of the hidden Mediterranean spirit of Rijeka – vibrancy, strong emotions, and grand contrasts compressed in a narrow space belonging to some past times.
