"260 Days" is the work of a little man who, through daily work on himself, managed to break through all barriers, open his eyes and realistically view things from all angles, without prejudice or hatred. The key element was to separate the heart from the brain, feelings from reason – which is particularly difficult, especially with a tragedy behind him. A ten-year-old boy finds himself in the wrong place, at the wrong time, together with his six-member family. The wrong place is the occupied area of Eastern Slavonia in the then Yugoslavia, and the wrong time is the time of global politics, i.e. when global players said that it was time for Yugoslavia to split up. As a collateral victim, he is captured for 265 long days, experiences unimaginable suffering every day, dies several times, buries his loved ones and finally sees the light of day again after 6360 hours.
